We are proud to announce that Patrycja Sałacińska, President of Polish Professionals in Madrid (PPM), has been awarded joint second place in the Young Polish Diaspora Leader category of the Polish Diaspora Personality of the Year Awards. She received her award at a ceremony in Vilnius.
This year’s competition attracted more than 30 outstanding nominees from around the world, with the winners selected by an independent jury of experts.
This recognition celebrates almost a decade of Patrycja’s dedication to building and developing the Polish Professionals in Madrid community. Founded on the belief that collaboration and mutual support can achieve far more than competition, PPM has grown into a network of around 600 Polish professionals in Spain.
Under her leadership, PPM has evolved into an active platform for sharing knowledge, professional experience and connections. Over the years, the organisation has delivered dozens of initiatives, including workshops, industry events, business projects, a mentoring programme, podcasts, cultural and networking events, as well as initiatives supporting professional development and cooperation with companies and institutions.
Today, PPM serves as an important point of contact for Polish professionals, entrepreneurs, businesses, media and institutions looking to connect with the Polish community in Spain. It has also helped create the foundations for new independent initiatives and partnerships, demonstrating the lasting value of bringing people together and fostering mutual support.
This award is a meaningful recognition of Patrycja’s long-standing commitment, hard work and consistent vision. It is also an encouragement to continue developing PPM and creating new opportunities for the Polish professional community in Spain.
Our warmest congratulations to Patrycja on this well-deserved achievement!
We would also like to thank the jury for recognising her contribution, the organisers for this wonderful initiative, and all PPM members, partners, collaborators and supporters for their trust, commitment and continued involvement in our community.
We firmly believe that the strength of the Polish diaspora lies in collaboration, solidarity and mutual support – the values that have guided PPM since its beginnings.
