…and thus, we consider our Madrid Polonaise Ball 2024 to be over – and a new beautiful Polish tradition in the heart of Spain to have just BEGUN!!! 😀
Anyone who was there has no doubt that this simply CANNOT be just a one-time event! This new PPM project – the first edition of which was organized with the invaluable artistic participation of the Polish Dance Club Madrid – simply MUST become just the beginning of a long history of our wonderful Polish diaspora balls here in Madrid!
WHAT AN EVENING IT WAS!!!
In a beautifully decorated hall, accompanied by wonderful Polish music, extraordinary choreographies of our national dances and delicious Polish delights, we celebrated our amazing Polish culture together with:
➡ representatives of the Polish Embassy, Consulate and Instituto Polaco de Cultura en Madrid (including the Ambassador Anna Sroka, the Consul Justyna Tokarska and Mrs. Magda Majda, Acting Director of the Institute),
➡ our friends from other Polish organizations (Ambar, Forum and Krakus associations) and Polish schools (Polish School at the Embassy and Polish School FORUM),
➡ representatives of the Spanish administration,
➡ widely known (and liked!) Conrado Moreno-Szypowski,
➡ representatives of Polish and Spanish companies,
➡ the wonderful Polish community in Spain, including numerous members of PPM and PKT Madrid, and other Polish guests coming even from Poland and other countries,
➡ and last but not least, Spanish and foreign guests interested (and delighted after the Ball 😀) with our Polish culture and spirit!!!
This extraordinary event was organized with the financial and logistical support of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland and under the honorary patronage of the Embassy and the Polish Culture Institute in Madrid.
Last but not least, our Ball would not be so glamours without the support of our sponsors: Booksy, Pernod Ricard (the group to which Wyborowa S.A. belongs) and the only Polish restaurant in Madrid “La Polonesa”!
